Synergi are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a large FMCG manufacturing company in Warwickshire. The successful would join the Engineering team on a 4 on 4 off Days & Nights shift pattern working an average of 42 hours a week. Job Description:

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for fault resolution, continuous improvements and best practice delivery of mechanical & electrical standards. Maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, building infrastructure, building services & utilities provision using co-ordinated corrective, preventative & predictive maintenance techniques will play a significant part of the role. From this the Equipment Failure Downtime will be expected to be minimalised.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Intrusive Planned & Preventative Maintenance Schedules ( PMs ) HACCP studies and audits
  • Maintenance of Programmable Logic Controllers, Man Machine Interfaces and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition ( SCADA ) systems
  • Pro-active resolution of site engineering services to meet factory requirements and drive improvements to all energy/environmental delivery measures.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a track record of focused improvement.
  • Experience in a liquid or food processing environment would be ideal.
  • Participate in delivering Engineering department vision and strategic plan and to develop and deploy a strategy for energy, equipment and maintenance which supports the progression & development of the site in line with the Britvic Work System (BWS).
  • Develop, implement & deliver a robust strategy for mechanical, electrical, building services & utilities provision and control of engineering budgets to deliver the most cost-effective results.
  • Extensive experience of working within a strategic, target driven manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge and application experience of delivering specific Health, Safety & Environmental legislation


Salary: Up to £41,300 depending on experience and interview

Shifts: 4 on 4 off Days and Nights Rotation
